Headless Chickens come home to roost

There is so much furore over seemingly innocuous statement by one very enlightened diplomat about a certain category of species called" Headless Chicken". A country which was already in the crossfire of debate over something as quirky as 123 Agreement and Fernandes ’s One Bullet in the Head Theory , it opened a new vista of productive and argumentative debate in our Parliament finally culminating in its agitated members entering the well of the House forcing it for another adjournment. We all were clueless in this 60the Year of our Maturing democracy, whether our political class will have even semblance of consensus in any of the issues, least can they do what they are paid for : debate, discuss, argue, listen and sometimes pass some legislation for the Aam Admi. Before we could reach to any conclusion about this “Headless Chicken “riddle, members across the fault lines of partisan politics decided overwhelmingly against the suggestion of No Work No Pay Rule for themselves. Can you call them “HEADLESS CHEICKEN” now? Even the most leftist of trade union could not have pulled off such a bargain from a most supportive communist government in West Bengal or Kerala ?
Finally , we all know who are the headless chickens all these years listening to Powers that be and believing that Tomorrow will dawn a new India as promised by our leaders.
